PURPOSE: A method for providing an advertisement using a wireless terminal is provided to transmit advertisement data to the wireless terminal when connecting to a wireless Internet and output the advertisement data to a screen when using the wireless terminal, offer the advertisement when being moved between menus, or store the advertisement and offer the advertisement to a user when and manufacturing and buying the wireless terminal. CONSTITUTION: A WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) server converts information received from a wireless terminal into an HTTP(HyperText Transfer Protocol)/HTTPS format, transmits an access request signal to a contents provider on the Internet, and performs a log-in(S33). The corresponding contents provider outputs menus with a tree structure on a screen of a wireless terminal. If a user selects a desired menu and transmits an information request signal(S34), the contents provider recognizes and analyzes the information request signal, determines service providing information through an HDML(Handheld Devices Markup Language), HTML(HyperText Markup Language), or CGI(Common Gateway Interface) program call, executes corresponding information, and transmits request information to the WAP server through the HTTP/HTTPS(S35). An advertisement providing company transmits advertisement data to the WAP server through the HTTP/HTTPS(S36). The WAP server converts request information with the HTTP/HTTPS format into a wireless markup language, encrypts request information, and transmits request information to the wireless terminal of the user(S37). The user receives and confirms request information received in the wireless terminal(S38). When the user is moved to an other menu or before the user disconnects the wireless Internet, the WAP server converts the advertisement data with the HTTP/HTTPS format into the wireless markup language, encrypts the advertisement data, and transmits the advertisement data to the wireless terminal(S39). |
