PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a residue amount in incinerated ash with excellent energy efficiency without increasing an equipment cost and a running cost. SOLUTION: A waste treatment method comprises a first combustion process wherein organic waste is burnt under reductive gas atmosphere obtained in a combustion state that an air ratio is set to 0.1-1, preferably under the presence of steam at a temperature of 500-900 deg.C preferably 600-800 deg.C; an incinerated ash recovery process wherein the incinerated ash generated at the first combustion process is separated from exhaust gas in a state of 600 deg.C or more, preferably 800 deg.C or more; and an after-combustion process wherein exhaust gas flowing through the incinerated ash recovery process is burnt.
