PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet guide device capable of preventing corrugation and flapping of a sheet to stabilize the running attitude of the sheet. SOLUTION: This sheet guide device of a paper sheet type both-sided printing machine includes a sheet guide provided below a reversing drum for guiding a sheet transported along the peripheral surface of the reversing drum. The sheet guide is provided with one or more sets of air chambers formed by boring a plurality of air jet holes in a sheet guide surface formed substantially like a plane along the sheet guide direction and one or more sets of air pipes having a plurality of air jet holes bored in the axial direction of the outer peripheral surface. The air chambers and the air pipes are mixed and arranged along the sheet running direction, and a moving means is provided to move the sheet guide in the direction of separating from the sheet transport surface of the reversing drum.
