DUST CAP AND FLOW CONTROL VALVE BODY EQUIPPED WITH DUST CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust cap for protecting a flow path in a flow control valve at shipping and a valve body suited to be equipped with the dust cap. SOLUTION: The flow control valve 1 has a valve element in the valve body 10 and is controlled by an actuator 50. The valve body 10 has an inlet pipe 20 and an outlet pipe 30 for a fluid and the plastic dust cap 100 is applied thereon at shipping. The dust cap 100 has a bottom portion 110, a cylindrical portion 150 and a protruded portion 120. A sealing member 34 is mounted on the outside of the outlet pipe 30. The dust cap 100 with the protruded portion fitted to the flow path 32 for the outlet pipe has no contact with the sealing member 34 when equipped.
