<p>A foot exercise/massage device which can be used while on an aircraft to limit the development of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). The device is assembled by a provider of non-carbonated drinks by folding a pre-creased and shaped blank of corrugated cardboard or thin plastic. The device is a cylindrical unit with a hexagonal cross-section which forms a sleeve for a bottle or can containing a non-carbonated beverage. In use, the device is rolled backwards and forwards over the floor under the sole of the foot. The outer surface of the device may be provided with semi-circular protrusions for enhancing the massage effect. After use, the liquid contents can be consumed.</p> |
