artillery armament. SUBSTANCE: the launching device has a foundation plate, launching unit with barrels with an inner bore and a locking device. Mounted in the inner annular bore of each barrel for radial movement up to the engagement with the shot is a clamp with a screw drive, and rings are positioned- a pressing ring and a packing ring in the form of a hollow anchor ring. Chamfers are formed on the surfaces of the clamp end that are conjugate to the pressing ring for their engagement with the stops that are diametrically arranged on the pressing ring. The pressing ring is installed for axial movement up to the engagement with the packing ring. The locking device consists of a mechanical drive and locks kinematically linked by means of shafts with the screw ends, mounted in the fixed body of each of them is a movable yoke with slides located inside it resting on the yoke cover, the slides have rests on axles installed in them. The stops are made in the form of double-arm levers, one arm of each of them is spring-loaded inside the slide by a force turning the stop towards the shot, and the other arm rests with the surface facing the shot on the inner wall of the slide and is conjugate to the mating seat of the shot. The screw ends of the shafts are positioned in the respective screw holes of the yokes for rotation of the shafts providing for translational motion of the yokes, and the clearance between the yoke edge and the surface of the stop arm is less than the yoke stroke.
