HOME SECURITY SYSTEM USING SMS

PURPOSE: A home security system using an SMS(Short Message Service) is provided to obtain an image when the image change of a camera is sensed, transmit the obtained image to the outside through the Internet, and store the image in a specific server or transmit the image to a personal portable terminal for confirming the image. CONSTITUTION: A camera(10) obtains an image through a camera lens. A client PC(18) receives image data from the camera(10) and stores the received image data in its memory. An SMS server(11) connects to the client PC(18) through the Internet(13) for receiving an IP(Internet Protocol) address of the client PC(18), generating an SMS message, and storing the generated SMS message. A portable terminal(15) receives the SMS message including the IP address of the client PC(18) from the SMS server(11), and connects to the IP address for receiving the image data from the client PC(18) and outputting the received image on its display unit.
