PURPOSE: An overpressure safety device of an aerosol container is provided to prevent the danger of deformation or explosion by discharging gas before pressure rises excessively. CONSTITUTION: An aerosol container(100) has an improved nozzle assembly(120). The nozzle assembly comprises a nozzle body(122) having a space(122c) and supported on the center of a support member(116), a valve stem(124) installed in the space of the nozzle body and for injecting the gas filled in the aerosol container, an opening and closing ring(126) made of rubber and for opening and closing a gas inlet(124a) of the valve stem, an opening and closing ring adhering member(128) for adhering the opening and closing ring toward a support ledge(122b) of the nozzle body, an adhering spring(130) of which pressure is applied to adhere the opening and closing ring toward the support ledge, and a support spring(132) for elastically supporting the valve stem. If a force resisting against the elasticity of the adhering spring is applied, the opening and closing ring moves upward by the internal pressure. Then, the gas inlet of the valve stem is opened. The gas filled in the aerosol container is discharged, and the internal pressure of the container is reduced.
