PURPOSE: A compatible device for optical pick-up is provided to minimize the effects of double refraction of an optical record medium by reducing deviation of transmissivity according to polarization state of an incident light, thereby obtaining a fine reproducing signal. CONSTITUTION: A compatible device for optical pick-up includes a first light source(110) emitting a first light, a second light source(120) emitting a second light having a wavelength different from the first light; a first optical path converter(115) reflecting the first light for converting an optical path, a second optical path converter(125) reflecting the first light with transmitting the second light for converting an optical path; an objective lens(130) focusing the transmitted or reflected light on each corresponding optical record medium(131,132); an optical detector(140) collecting the light reflected from the optical record medium and incident via the first optical path converter and the second optical path converter.
