PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled paper accommodating mechanism capable of accommodating the rolled paper of various sizes including specified sizes and, unspecified sizes. SOLUTION: This rolled paper accommodating mechanism 11 is provided with an accommodating case 30, and a rolled paper holding unit 35 movable while guided by guide shafts 31, 32, and a rolled paper holding unit 36 movable while guided by guide shafts 33, 34 are mounted inside of the accommodating case 30. The rolled paper holding units 35, 36 have the shape of a thick plate having an upwardly opened semicircular recessed part 29, and a pair of holding rollers 55, 56 are mounted at a lower part of the recessed part 29 in a state that upper parts of the rollers are projected inside of the recessed part 29. The rolled paper holding unit 35 is provided with a second gear 57 of which an oblique upper part is projected to the recessed part 29, and the torque from the guide shaft 31 is transmitted to the second gear 57.
