PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method that can record in real time even contents of a large capacity to a plurality of recording media without the need for dividing the contents into a plurality of contents in advance. SOLUTION: When an idle capacity of a recording medium during recording gets smaller, write of contents information to the recording medium is stopped, the destination of the contents information is changed from the recording medium to a storage means capable of writing/reading at the same time that is built in the recorder of this invention and the contents information is written in the storage means. While the contents information are continuously written to the storage means, the contents information having been written in the storage means are sequentially read and then written to a new recording medium loaded next.
