<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent heat deterioration of a liquid crystal panel and a polarizing plate or the like. SOLUTION: P-type semiconductors 13 and N-type semiconductors 14 are connected respectively with both ends of a 1st shading film 23 formed on scanning lines of the liquid crystal panel, and electrodes 15, 17 are connected with these semiconductors 13, 14, respectively. A power source voltage is applied across the electrodes 15, 17 each from a power supply part 25. Thus, the electrodes 15, 17 generate heat, and the 1st shading film 23 acts as a heat absorber of a Peltier element. Thus, the heat generated in the liquid crystal panel is absorbed by the 1st shading film 23 and the liquid crystal panel is cooled.</p> |
