PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device capable of conducting a leakage test of a spout body of which a tip end is closed by seal material, easily in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The device is so structured that a sealed space 15 is formed by covering a cover member 14 on an outer side of the spout body 3, a pressure in the sealed space 15 on the outer side of the spout body is reduced in a state that the inside of the spout body 3 is pressurized, and existence of a leakage is detected by measuring the degree of vacuum of the sealed space 15.
