PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector assembly in which a phosphor layer formed so as to correspond to a pixel in a photodetector forms a reflecting layer by which a characteristic by its shape can be reflected so as to detect a radiation with satisfactory efficiency. SOLUTION: Pillar-shaped, trapezoidal or spindle-shaped phosphor layers 102 are formed on a phosphor substrate 101 in positions corresponding to respective pixels on a semiconductor light detecting element 106. A reflecting-layer formation material 103 is formed on the phosphor layers 102. When the material 103 is melted, the reflecting layer 105 is formed uniformly on the surface of the phosphor layers. It is pasted on the element 106 via an adhesive layer 110, and the radiation detector assembly is obtained.
