CLIP FOR SEALING ENTRANCE PORTION OF PAPER BAG

PURPOSE: A clip for sealing an entrance portion of a paper bag is provided to improve a creep-resistance property of the clip and to be effectively used even in an automatic sealing machine. CONSTITUTION: The clip used to seal an entrance portion of a paper bag consists of a pair of gripping members(2,3) that the base portions of them are integrally coupled each other by interposing a hinge or flexible band(4). The gripping members are formed with projected coupling portions(2a,3a) on the distal ends thereof and toothed coupling portions(2b,3b) on the tip ends thereof, which are engaged each other, and at least one longitudinal protrusion is located on a non-contact position between the projected coupling portion and the toothed coupling portion of each gripping member.
