<p>The braking and stopping of a drawer tractor is reliably made possible without applying load to an engine or driving mechanism and without effecting a complicated operation. The crawler tractor comprises a conical link mechanism (53) connecting the steering handle (7) and main speed change lever (55) of the crawler tractor, an operating link for connecting an operating mechanism for a brake pedal (54), and a neutral position restoring mechanism for the operating link installed in the operating link, the neutral position restoring mechanism for the operating link being constituted by a key-shaped cam lever (61). As the brake pedal is stepped on, first, the main speed change lever is moved to the neutral position before the braking force is produced, and then the brake is actuated. It is possible to make effective use of engine brake and to reduce the size of the brake.</p> |
