<p>The aim of the invention is to provide a gas pressure regulator which functions with repetitive accuracy even with the smallest possible throughpu ts and which simultaneously maintains a zero cut-off. In addition, the inventio n should allow gas burners which are operated within a wide modulation range t o be ignited, while keeping the internal pressure loss as minimal as possible. The production costs and the number of sealing points should also be as low as possible. To achieve these aims, the chamber (19) on the inlet side and the chamber on the outlet side (22) of the gas pressure regulator, together with the passage that is available for regulating the pressure, are also connecte d by one or several separate openings (34) which respectively form a seat (35) for a closure body (33) that is allocated to said openings and that is displaced in an axial direction against the seat. Said closure body is, in turn, connected to an armature (31) of a solenoid valve. The gas pressure regulator, which regulates the initial pressure in a gas line that supplies a gas burner, can also feed the gas burner the required initial quantity of ga s for ignition.</p> |
