PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cutter having a scraper free from abrasion in mechanical noodle making. SOLUTION: This rotary cutter is used for cutting thinly noodles and comprises a first rotary roller having a great number of blades parts in the axial direction, a second rotary roller having a great number of blades parts facing to each blade part of the first rotary rollers and is rotatably supported parallel with the first rotary roller and the slit type scraper which is engaged with the blade parts grooves of each of the rotary rollers and is stationarily supported without being brought into contact with the bottom of the blade part groove. Long and narrow noodles cut by a pair of the rotary rollers are smoothly peeled from the blade part grooves by the slit type scaper.
