PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printing method using a water-soluble anionic dye being suitable for being used in an aqueous ink for ink-jet printing providing an image with better photo-stability, density and fastness to water resistance by using specified ink-receptive elements. SOLUTION: The ink-jet printing method comprising steps of (A) providing an ink-jet printer which is responsive to digital data signals, (B) loading the printer with the ink-receptive elements comprising a support carrying an image- receiving layer comprising a highly branched dendrimer or hyper-branched polymer having a cationic moiety, (C) loading the printer with an ink-jet ink composition comprising water, a wetting agent and a water-soluble anionic dye and (D) printing on the image-receiving layer by using the ink-jet ink in response to the digital data signals is provided. |
