PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tuck a screw without holding it by a simple operation by means of only loading the screw by oneself without using a hand of another person and once pressing the shaft of a screwdriver to the screw or a threaded nail. SOLUTION: This holder is a tubular body 10 made of an elastic synthetic resin. The holder continuously and concentrically has: a guide hole 11 formed at its front end and capable of passing the shaft of the screw; a screw insertion hole 12 formed behind the guide hole and capable of passing the head of the screw; and a holding hole 16 formed behind the screw insertion hole and provided with a holding means 21 for holding the shaft part of a hand-driven screwdriver inserted from the rear end of the tubular body movably in the front and rear directions but immovably freely. A screw loading part 13 exposing a remaining hole wall of the screw insertion hole after removing part of the circumferential wall of the tubular body is formed in a region of the screw insertion hole. A slit 14 expanded in passing the head of the screw through the guide hole is formed by splitting the whole circumference of the guide hole and the remaining hole wall of the screw insertion hole into two from the front end of the tubular body through the screw insertion hole.
