PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester allowing for eliminating an unfavorableness of discharging grains due to the malfunction of an auger clutch (41), e.g. preventing grains from being scattered from a discharge auger (18) toward the machine body. SOLUTION: This combine harvester includes a grain discharge auger (18) acting turnably with respective to the machine body, a means (63) for detecting the turning position of the discharge auger (18), a control means (58) functioning to automatically move the discharge auger (18) to its housing position, an auger clutch (41) for driving the discharge auger (18), and manually operative means (50) and (51) functioning to turn the discharge auger (18); wherein this combine harvester is characterized by also including a clutch operative means (42) functioning to operate the auger clutch (41) to off mode when the discharge auger (18) is situated at its housing position or close thereto.
