PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that can store composite image data and restored information of original image data used for an arithmetic operation to generate the composite image data in a state where cross-reference of the both is always ensured. SOLUTION: A format of a composite image file is classified into a tag area 61, a photographing image recording area 62, and a thumbnail image recording area 63, which respectively store attribute information 71, a composite image 72 and a thumbnail picture 73. Furthermore, the tag area 61 stores restored information 74 of the original image data used for an arithmetic operation to generate the composite image data 72. The recording of the restored information 74 is classified into a case that the original image data are recorded as they are, a case that difference data between the composite image data and the original image data are recorded or a case that difference data between the composite image data and other original image data are recorded. |
