PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and manufacturing device of glass winding with strong adhesion with air layer ridden between a conductor and a glass bobbin layer, and with even finished dimension and yet smooth and good appearance. SOLUTION: With the manufacturing method of glass winding in which, after a glass bobbin layer is formed by winding a glass yarn bunch around a conductor, an insulation varnish is applied inside the glass bobbin layer to be printed afterwards, the printing of the insulation varnish is to be made as pressure is impressed on the surface of the glass bobbin layer with a surface- smoothing roll for glass winding.
