PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To roughly display the positions of one or more moving bodies on a map and to protect information registered as to the moving bodies in the case associated with a communication means. SOLUTION: More than two kinds of images representing one moving body are held and when the moving body is within a display range, the 1st image is displayed at the position of the moving body in a map image, but when not, the image is displayed nearby the external edge of the map image in its direction.
