PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper for speakers which suppresses unwanted resonance of arms of a butterfly damper to avoid the influence of the resonance on the sound quality and damage due to the resonance, without increasing the manufacturing cost for avoiding the resonance. SOLUTION: A butterfly damper supporting a voice coil bobbin of a speaker so as to oscillate, on a frame, is molded, using an olefinic resin material having physical values: internal loss of 0.045 or more, tensile strength of 200% or more and modulus of bending elasticity of 300 MPa or more.
