PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of detecting the heating temperatures of plural heat generating patterns existing in the upper/lower streams of the carry of a recorded material whose temperatures are detected by temperature detecting elements smaller than the number of the heat generating patterns, here it is difficult to detect the temperature correctly, because the distribution of heat generation of each heating element in the upper/lower stream is different from each other, according to the current-carrying state of the recorded material. SOLUTION: The heating device has temperature detecting means in the number smaller than that of current-carrying heating elements for detecting the temperature of a heated body, and the temperature detecting means are disposed at places where the temperature gradient of the heated body is small in energizing the current-carrying heating elements. |
