A switch assembly (50), and an associated method, for a multi-mode mobile station (12) operable to communicate pursuant to two or more communication services (14, 16, 18). Selected antenna transducers (62, 64), or test ports (56), are selectably connected by way of the switch assembly (50) to selected portions of the radio circuitry of the multi-mode mobile station (12). Non-mechanical switching is effectuated, thereby to provide appropriate connections of appropriate portions of the radio circuitry with the antenna transducers (62, 64), or test ports (56), of the multi-mode mobile station (12).
