PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a deflection scanning device from being vibrated more than needed by dispersion generated in the case of assembling a light deflector to an optical box. SOLUTION: A substrate 14 is fixed to the optical box so as to allow the outer peripheral wall of the shaft body 16 of a driving motor to abut on a holding hole 22 (the side of the centroid O1 of the substrate 14). By that, since the shaft body 16 and the holding hole 22 are abutted on the optical box at a position close to the centroid O1 of the substrate 14, the substrate 14 is surely fixed at the position of high rigidity of the optical box. Thus, even when a polygon mirror is rotated at high speed, the rigidity of the substrate 14 is high and the deflection scanning device is not vibrated. Thus, a laser beam source, a lens and a mirror, etc., housed in the optical box are not vibrated either and the image quality of print images is improved. |
