PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nut installation structure for installing a nut onto a panel member of aluminum capable of securing fastening strength, and reducing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In forging a base plate 12 of aluminum by precision pressing, cold forging, or hot forging, the nut 11 of iron is integrally coupled with the base plate, and the base plate 12 coupled with the nut 11 is spot-welded with a panel member 1 of aluminum. The nut 11 of iron is preliminarily coupled with the base plate 12 of aluminum to be integrated with it, and the base plate 12 is spot-welded with the panel member 1, so that the nut 11 is installed on the panel member 1. Weight can thus be reduced without increasing the number of component parts, work can be simplified, and manufacturing cost is reduced.
