PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems on threading and carrying properties in an electrophotographic device due to the development of interlaminar separation through repellence between a hydrophilic polyvinyl alcohol and the acrylic layer in an under layer and on the softening of a coating film due to the humidity of the fingers during handling. SOLUTION: In the image transfer material for electrophotography, which is produced by coating a polymer resin on both the sides of a base material mainly made of paper having a basis weight of 30 to 200 g/m<2> , two layers or a cushioning layer and a transfer layer are formed on the surface of a base material, while an anti-curling layer is formed on its rear surface and, in addition, the polymer resin forming the transfer layer is made of a water-repellent resin including a release controlling agent.
