PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a plastic lens capable of obtaining a sufficient optical precision as a method for manufacturing a plastic lens wherein a second face of a semi-finished lens having an optically finished first face and the second face to be worked into a desired shape later, is worked and finished into the desired shape. SOLUTION: The second face of the semi-finished lens is received by a curved surface body with almost the same curvature as the second face and annealed. Further, a first face is adjusted to a sufficient shape precision by stably deforming the entire second face in contact with the whole area of the curved surface body. After that, the second face is worked to a desired shape and thus the sufficient optical precision of the lens is acquired. |
