SHIFT LEVER COVER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever cover that is easy to assemble on a shift lever and is automatically removable from a die after molding and thus highly producible. SOLUTION: The shift lever cover 2 has a substantially cylindrical bushing covering portion 10 and a substantially cylindrical shift lever covering portion 12. A free end of the bushing covering portion 10 as one end of the shift lever cover 2 has a flanged bushing holding portion 14 projecting inward of the bushing covering portion 10, and a free end of the shift lever covering portion 12 as the other end of the shift lever cover 2 has a seal portion 18 projecting inward of the shift lever covering portion 12 and capable of close contact with an overall periphery of the shift lever 2. A notch 20 is formed through the bushing holding portion 14 and from the free end of the bushing covering portion 10 to the side of the bushing covering portion 10.
