PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversibly thermally discolorable composition which scarcely browns (colors) in an achromatized state. SOLUTION: This reversibly thermally discolorable composition comprises (1) a specific fluoran derivative as an electron-donating colorable organic compound, (2) an electron-accepting compound, and (3) a reactive solvent which can reversibly cause an electron transfer reaction between the components (1) and (2) in a specific temperature range.
