PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a waterproofing tape for building which can carry out the waterproofing between an exterior wall of a building and a window frame without fail while preventing a moisture-permeable waterproofing sheet stuck to the exterior wall from bulging out. SOLUTION: This waterproofing tape is prepared by forming a pressure- sensitive adhesive layer a2 for a rough surface on one side of a substrate a1 consisting of a film, a fibrous sheet, or the like, and then forming a pressure- sensitive adhesive layer a3 not containing a low-mol.-wt. oil component on the other side of the substrate a1. The substrate a1 prevents an oil component in the butyl rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive layer a2 from migrating to the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer a3 or a moisture-permeable waterproofing sheet, thus preventing the swelling of the moisture-permeable waterproofing sheet.
