<p>Sludge is brought to a residue water content of 70% by addition of hygroscopic materials, pref. vermiculite. Preferably, the vermiculite is first added after the sludge has settled and the water resulting from this has been drained off. Water can also first be removed by adding chemical precipitation agent. Apparatus is described.</p> |
