PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of becoming an evil effect on miniaturizing a device for requiring a dead space of a processing medium length span degree for performing processing in a position for user unable to intermediate between a medium in an automatic document handling device of a conventional technique. SOLUTION: This invention can miniaturize the device by performing the same processing as apparently processing a short medium by bending the medium in a projecting shape after taking the handling medium in a user unreachable position inside the device.
