PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put two or more tuners in one tuner casing together. SOLUTION: This receiver comprises first and second local oscillators 36 and 38 which oscillate at first and second local oscillation frequencies, a control part 42 for channel selection which supplies a first reception channel select signal Sca to the first local oscillator and a second reception channel select signal Scb to the second local oscillator, a first mixer 34 which is supplied with the output of the first local oscillator and an input video signal, a first video intermediate-frequency amplifier circuit 16 which is supplied with a video intermediate-frequency signal of a first reception channel outputted by the first mixer, a second mixer 40 which is supplied with a frequency-mixed signal fIF outputted from the first mixer and related to a second reception channel and the output of the second local oscillator, and a second video intermediate- frequency amplifier circuit 26 which is supplied with a video intermediate- frequency signal fIFb of the second reception channel outputted from the second mixer 40. Through this constitution, two channels can be received at the same time. The video intermediate frequencies are different, and thus tuners can be put together in the same casing.
