PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a read device for meter information automatic, capable of freely and properly reading measurement information of a meter, while eliminating confirmation work to confirm a photographing position of a displaying body in an image load on mounting of work which should be reduced. SOLUTION: This read device for meter information automatic is furnished with an image photographing part 11 to photograph a photographing object region which includes the displaying body to display the measurement information and an image processing part 12 to carry out retrieving process, to specify a position of the displaying body in the photographing objective range and a reading process to read display information of the displaying body the position of which is specified by the retrieving process, and the image processing part 12 is constituted, so as to carry out a correcting processing to correct a retrieving objective region as the object of the retrieval processing among the photographing objective region according to the result of the previously carried out retrieval processing (for example, processing for contraction). |
