PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading apparatus capable of reading an original image with reverse taking thereof eliminated with high precision. SOLUTION: While a reading position is occupied by a surface with a first reflectance and a surface with a second reflectance of a movable reflector 305 by means of an actuator 313, an image of an original 1 is respectively read by image reading means comprising an image sensor 203. A difference between the read two image data is multiplied by a correction coefficient determined by a reflectance of each reflector of the movable reflector to produce data for eliminating an effect by reflected light from the reflector 305. The produced data is subtracted from one image data, thereby output image data free from reverse taking being produced. |
