PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording and reproducing device in which an exclusive space for a tilt-correcting mechanism can be small with simple constitution. SOLUTION: Characteristically, an optical pickup 30 having an optical head which irradiates an optical disk with a light beam, guiding axes 32a and 32b for moving the optical pickup in the direction of the radius of the optical disk, a sending motor 36 for moving the optical pickup along the guide axes, a guiding-axis receiving part material 35 for supporting the guiding axes, which are provided on a chassis 34 to form a projection, and a decentering part which adjusts the angles of inclination of the guiding axes supported by the guiding- axis receiving part material are provided.
