PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial marble from which a lighter product can be made without reducing the thickness of the product. SOLUTION: The artificial marble is manufactured by molding and hardening of a thermosetting resin composite. The thermosetting resin composite consists of a thermosetting resin, a hardening agent, a filler, and micro balloons 2. Micro balloons used as lightweight aggregates can reduce product weight without thinning the thickness of the product.
