PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder in which the fixing accuracy of a carriage can be sustained at a high level. SOLUTION: A region 206 engaging with a stop part 151a provided on a carriage 151 and a disengaging region 207 are formed in a guide member 200 provided with a guide shaft 154 for guiding movement of the carriage 151. Since rotation of the carriage about the guide shaft can be suppressed even if an external force is applied to a recording head so long as the stop part on the carriage is engaging with the guide member, fixing accuracy of the carriage can be sustained at a high level.
