PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel air curtain unit in which the weight, power consumption and cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: When a side door is closed, an air flow switching door 32 switches the blowing direction of chill from a refrigeration unit 12 to the deep freezer 10 side and an air inlet switching door 31 switches the sucking direction of the refrigeration unit 12 to the deep freezer 10 side. When the side door is opened, the air flow switching door 32 switches the blowing direction from the refrigeration unit 12 to the air curtain outlet side, and the air inlet switching door 31 switches the sucking direction of the refrigeration unit 12 to the air curtain inlet side, thus forming an air curtain by supplying air from the refrigeration unit 12.
