PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an influenza virus-binding peptide useful for prophylaxis of infection of the influenza virus. SOLUTION: This influenza virus/hemagglutinin-binding peptide is (a) or (b): (a) a peptide having an amino acid sequence selected from either of amino acid sequences represented by sequence numbers 1 to 3 derived from phage library; or (b) a peptide having an amino acid sequence in which one or more amino acids are modified by substitution, deletion or addition in the amino acid sequence denoted in (a) and having a binding ability with the influenza virus/hemagglutinin. Sequence number 1: Ser Arg Ala Phe Asp Leu Leu Asp Gln Pro Leu Ser Asn Ala Arg; sequence number 2: Thr Ser Val Asn Arg Gly Phe Leu Leu Gln Arg Ala Ser His Pro; and sequence number 3: Giy Leu Ala Met Ala Pro Ser Val Gly His Val Arg Gln His Gly.
