PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cleansing cosmetics having an excellent cleansing effect and a good feeling of touch (smoothness during use, moisture retaining after use, and slight stickiness after use). SOLUTION: The cleansing cosmetics contains essential ingredients of (A) a water soluble polyhydric alcohol of 20-70 mass %, (B) a nonionic surfactant having HLB of >=7 but <12 of 0.1-10 mass %, (C) a nonionic surfactant having HLB of >=12 of 0.1-10 mass %, and (D) an acrylic acid/methacrylic acid alkyl copolymer of 0.01-3 mass %.
