A safety razor which features a pivot point that shifts from a center point pivot substantially on the shave plane, to a guard-bar pivot substantially on the shave plane, as shaving forces increase to help prevent nicks and cuts, and provide a smooth shave. The razor comprises a pivot frame (14,14'), a pivot assembly (12) pivotally coupled to said pivot frame, and a blade assembly (10) pivotally coupled to said pivot assembly. |
