PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water base ink composition for writing utensils and the writing utensils having the same built-in in which the occurrence of foam in the ink is prevented and good handwriting can be obtained. SOLUTION: The water base ink composition for writing utensils comprises a colorant, water, a water soluble organic solvent, and an oxime derivative represented by the general formula (1) (wherein R1 represents hydrogen or an alkyl group, and R2 represents an alkyl group). |
