PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flet sawing machine capable of reducing a frictional resistance generated at a pressure receiving part based on the operation of an operating means and imparting a pressing force to the receiving part from a suitable direction. SOLUTION: The flet sawing machine comprises a movable unit 27 coupled to a rocking lever 24 to impart the pressing force to the pressure receiving part 21 of an upper sandwiching unit 18. The unit 27 has a movable piece 28 contacted with the receiving part 21, a guide part 38 provided along the longitudinal direction of the lever 24 and a rolling wheel 39 engaged with the guide part 28. When the lever 24 is operated to be rocked, the wheel 39 is guide to be relatively rolled along the longitudinal direction of the lever 24 by the guide part 38, and the engaging position of the guide part 38 with the wheel 39 is changed. As a result, the piece 28 is rocked by the lever 24 to impart the pressing force to the part 21 in a state in which the piece 28 contacts at the substantially same position.
