PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet ink capable of obtaining high durability which has not been achievable by a prior art, in particular, suitable for thermal ink-jet recording, and to provide an ink-jet device capable of achieving high durability using the same. SOLUTION: The ink at least comprises a colorant, a liquid for dispersing or dissolving the colorant, a carbon black, and bishydroxyethyl sulfone, wherein the carbon black content is 0.1 wt.% or less. The ink-jet recording device using the ink is also provided. |
