PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a necessary heating ability and efficiently perform a heating operation without depending on the quantity of solar radiation and outside air temperature. SOLUTION: A device utilizing solar heat comprises a solar heat collector 24, an air supply means 25, a heat pump circuit 19 having a capacity variable compressor 20, an evaporator 23 of the heat pump circuit 19 for performing a heat exchange with air passing through the solar heat collector 24 a heat collector inlet air temperature sensor 33, an evaporator refrigerant inlet temperature sensor 34, and a compressor capacity variable control means 32 for setting rotating speed of a compressor 22 so that evaporator refrigerant inlet temperature is substantially equal to heat collector inlet air temperature. Thus, the high temperature air receiving solar heat in the solar heat collector is supplied to the evaporator, so that the evaporating temperature rises to outstandingly increase the efficiency of the heat pump. |
